With background in triathlon, placing 3rd in the Western Sydney half Ironman and qualifying for Gold Coast World Championship, & having felt like enough was achieved in this arena – this triathlete then turned to Soccer as a means of being part of team sport. Soccer was a great move until a shoulder barge from an opponent lead to a ruptured ACL with severe bone bruising and 3 x knee surgeries to follow. The silver lining of the surgeries is the knowledge that has been brought forward to helping others with knee pain & injuries, plus having lived through what rehabilitation looks like.
Interests now still remain in the weights room, tennis as a sport and waterskiing in my spare time. I love being active and strong and the reason for this is that it allows me to tackle almost everything I want to do or try in life. Being able to do is the greatest gift and not to be taken for granted.
